Employment/Volunteer

Employment

Trempealeau County Health Care Center and its affiliates offer employment to about 350 employees. At least 2/3 of the employees are at full time, benefit eligible status. The types of employment opportunities are varied and include direct care and professional positions.

Why Volunteer?

A volunteer is a very special person who gives freely of their time and talents for the benefit of others, without personal renumeration. This definition is just the beginning.

"In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart, there is the power to do it."

~Marianne Williamson

Many of the best reasons to volunteer may seem simple, yet these reasons can be meaningful and rewarding.  Volunteering makes you feel good, allows the opportunity to meet new people, can teach you new skills, and allow you the opportunity to give back to your community. People who have volunteered their time or have contributed money report they get back in satisfaction and joy more than they ever expend in inconveniences or effort...what you get back is immeasurable.

Volunteers can help out in many ways and all help is greatly appreciated.  Do you enjoy reading out loud? Do you have a talent you would like to share? Can you offer music programs to special events we plan? These are only a few of the volunteer ideas we have for you.  We invite you to come and see us, talk with us and we will help you find the right fit for your volunteer experience.
