Why volunteer?
A volunteer is a very special person who gives freely of their time and talents for the benefit of others, without personal renumeration. This definition is just the beginning.
Many of the best reasons to volunteer may seem simple to many - volunteering makes you feel good; volunteering helps you meet new people; volunteering teaches you new skills and the list goes on. People who have spent time volunteering for a cause or have contributed money to a charity report that they get back in satisfaction and joy more than they ever expend in inconveniences or effort - what you get back is immeasurable.
Volunteers helps out in many ways and we need you. Do you enjoy reading out loud? Do you have a talent you would like to share? Can you offer music programs to special events we plan? These are only a few of the ideas we have for you as you volunteer with us. We invite you to come and see us, talk with us and we will find just the spot for you to volunteer.
